The roughly 4-kg body of COBOTTA contains an internal controller, eliminating the need for a safety fence and allowing the system to be setup without modification in a draft chamber or on a laboratory desk or clean bench. The entire system is small enough for two adults to carry and can easily be moved around to facilitate changes in laboratory layout. It allows for a limited space to be used efficiently, optimizing the use of research environments.
