DENSO Robotics Online Expo 2020

We are pleased to announce the DENSO Robotics Online Expo 2020 from Thursday, July 16, to Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Visitors to the special online exhibition space will be able to view demonstration videos featuring new products and remotely experience what it’s like to operate DENSO’s latest software.
Each day will feature a variety of presentations and demonstration tours. There will also be one-on-one consultations via videoconferencing so that visitors can discuss products and deployment with specialists.
Participation is free, but requires advance registration.We look forward to visiting with you soon.

    A VM robot and a Beckhoff XTS mounted on its arm are control in a synchronized manner to high-speed align workpieces with a high of precision.

  • Integrated equipment control

    An RC9 will be used to implement integrated equipment control to seamlessly create a cardboard box palletizing and depalletizing system.

  • Single-PC integrated control

    A 3D machine vision system will recognize bulk workpieces and automatically generate the optimal path to avoid obstructions. Single-PC integrated control is made possible by consolidating RC9 firmware, commercially available software, and a custom application on an IPC.

  • Real-time electronic cam control

    An HSR robot and linear slider will be allocated to an electronic cam (TC3***) to create a simple, multiple-axis simultaneous control solution.

    View a video describing how DENSO helps customers reduce downtime by using the cloud to offer support, from before deployment of DENSO products to the maintenance stage.

Next-generation robot controller RC9 for integrated control

We will introduce the concept, background and features of RC9, and explain the "integrated control" that RC9 aims for and the technology to realize it, using the exhibit's applications.

High payload, Long reach VM, VL series

High payload, Long reach VM, VL series

VM and VL series as high payload and long reach 6 axis robot are newly available. We will introduce the product concepts and propose "reduction of man-hours for the start-up of facilities" using the application.

WINCAPS Plus, application software that continues to pursue the partial optimization of "simplicity"

We develop our products with “ease” in mind. We will introduce the concept of 5 WINCAPS Plus application software with the background of the development story.

Imitation learning engine (tentative name), AI to automate non-verbal tasks

Most of the tasks that cannot be described in words are not yet robotized. Those tasks can now be automated with AI. We will introduce the basic concept of our future AI products, Imitation learning engine (tentative name), the Architecture and UI.

EVP2, a built in program-less visual application specialized for pick and place

EVP (Easy Vision Picking) is a vision application with a built-in controller that specializes in "pick and place" operations with DENSO robots and image processing, pursuing simplicity and high performance. The new version, EVP2, which will be released soon, has significantly improved image processing capabilities. We will introduce the concept of EVP and the change from EVP to EVP2.
