3. Notice:

Please do not block at "Driver Signing Options" and the security options of local policies in the local security settings of your PC, and the installation of the Active USB-COM Port Driver will become successful.
  • The USB device can be removed and plugged into PC during communication (COM port is opened). However, communication data are lost while the USB device is removed.
  • COM Port Number is always occupied because this driver is operated as a Virtual Serial Port, even while the USB device is removed.
  • The Active USB-COM Port Driver and the USB-COM Port Driver 1.x can not be used at the same time. The installer of this driver requires to uninstall the USB-COM Port Driver 1.x.
  • The multiple use of the USB device is available when the Active USB-COM Port driver is installed at the multiple times. However, this driver can not be individually uninstalled, so that all the installed drivers must be uninstalled at one time.
  • The Active USB-COM Port Driver can not install as a specified COM Port Number. Installed USB Device is assigned to the lowest unused COM Port Number (COM3 or later) which is managed by Windows. Please confirm the pair relation between USB Device and COM Port Number after installing this driver each time.
  • In case of Windows Vista, please read "Microsoft ActiveSync" as "Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center".
  • The release of the Active USB-COM Port Driver does not mean that the current USB-COM Port Drive 1.x should be replaced with the Active USB-COM Port Driver. It is suggested that the functional differences should be well-understood and considered which driver is appropriate for your purpose.
