DENSO Europe B.V. (Robotics Department) will be present in the Application Park, Hall 17 , Booth B24 at the Hannover Messe. DENSO will show how easy is the implementation of its robots for measurement, control and automation applications. This will be achieved by using National Instruments’ graphical programming software LabVIEW, which independently of the operation system platform, reduces the effort of programming DENSO robots.
DENSO will show a demo system that consists of a DENSO 6 axis robot that tests switches and buttons of an automobile's navigation system. Through torque and force sensors, attached to the robot arm, it is possible to measure their correct function, while a camera "watches" the robot's work. The values obtained from the sensors are sent back to a PC that works as measurement device, where the current positions and data are saved and prepared for evaluation. It is also possible to adapt this application to a wide variety of switches and to different implementations.
