Handling of lithium ion batteries and lithium metal batteries

Transportation of lithium batteries is subject to regulations such as the Recommendations by the United Nations, International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations, International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, and laws and regulations of different countries.

Lithium batteries used in our products are subject to such regulations and accordingly, the shipper is responsible for the compliance with such regulations. For this reason, we request our customers to check up with their shipping companies and take proper actions in advance for air and ocean transportation of the products falling under such regulations.

Furthermore, transportation by rail and land and otherwise may be subject to regulations depending on the country and area; we request our customers to take similar actions.
